Magaluf Beach
SahilMagaluf is located in the southwest corner of Mallorca, seven kilometres from Calvià. Magaluf has many British visitors, but also many (young) tourists from Scandinavia. \n \n Magaluf has a lovely 900 m long beach with the official name Platja de Magaluf. The beach has fine-grained sand and clear water.During the summer, there are many young people at the beach in Magaluf, and naturally, this influences the beach life.\n \n The beach has all facilities, including sun lounges, sunshades, toilet, showers and lifeguards. Behind the beach, there is a lovely new sea front, and here the young people gather in the afternoon.\n \n The beach itself is child-friendly, but Magaluf is not a good holiday resort for families with children. It is basically a party town for young people – and this also affects the beach.\n \n On the water, anything is possible in Magaluf and there are plenty of activities going on! If you prefer water skis, jet skis, banana boat or parasailing, Magaluf is just the place.
Calo Des Moro
SahilCalo des Moro is located 6 kilometres from Santanyi in the southeast corner of Mallorca. The beach can be a bit difficult to find. The residents put up signs saying that the road is private, but it is possible to drive all the way to the beach. Take your drinks and food with you when you go here because you won't find any places to eat around.\n \n Calo des Moro is an incredibly beautiful beach situated deep inside a bay with sheer cliffs. It is a small beach, but the 40 metres of beach is covered with fine-grained and bright sand. The water is crystal clear with the most beautiful turquoise shades. Perfect for a swim between the high cliffs.
Platja de Palma
SahilThe lovely Playa de Palma beach is 5-6 kilometres long and has several wide areas. The sand is fine-grained and the water deepens slowly.\n \n The beach has many sections with sun lounges and sunshades and there are lifeguards, showers and toilets several places along the beach. Even though there are a lot of people, there is always room. Behind the beach, there is a nice, wide sea front with approx. 15 beach bars called balnearios. At the sea front, there is also a wide variety of restaurants, cafés and tourist shops.\n \n You can park in the streets behind the beach, where you are usually able to find a free space.
Parque natural de Sa Dragonera
ManzaraThis small island on the south-west tip of Mallorca is a nature reserve.\n\nIt is named because it is said to resemble a sleeping dragon. The island is uninhabited, but you can visit on a boat trip from nearby Santa Ponça beach to swim, spot the birds and lizards, walk the island on foot and visit the small museum.

Passeig des Born
ManzaraPaseo del Borne, or “Passeig des Born” in Catalan, is arguably the most elegant avenue in Palma. Not surprisingly, many luxury designers such as Rolex, Louis Vuitton, Carolina Herrera and Mulberry have installed themselves here, and the area has been nicknamed the Golden Mile.\n \n You may have heard the word “born” before, in other towns in Spain. It signifies an area for games, such as jousting tournaments between knights in the middle ages. The avenue was actually once a kind of estuary until the great flood of 1403 turned the adjoining streets into terrible sewers. Much later, during the construction of the fifth walled enclosure of the town, the so-called Torrent de Sa Riera waterway was moved. Today, you can view the canal beside Es Baluard Contemporary Art Museum. \n \n The reconstruction left Borne free as public space and for celebrations, which it is still used for today.\n The avenue has undergone many alterations since the time of medieval knights. A restructuring took place in 1833, which is when the Jacinto Mateu Sureda’s Sphinxes were added, and the Turtle Fountain installed. In 1863 an effigy of Isabel II was inaugurated, but was pulled down five years later during the revolution. Though Franco did rename the avenue after himself, the dictator’s name didn’t really stick, and people continued to refer to it as Born.\n \n The well-kept promenade is an attraction in itself and worth strolling down at leisure, admiring the architecture on each side. The striking building in which Zara is housed, was once Borne’s famous cinema. On the same side of the road, you’ll come across Casal Solleric. It’s an 18th century converted mansion which now hosts temporary art exhibitions; there’s also a Tourist Office here if you’re after more information about what to do and see in Palma.
Castell de Bellver
MeşhurBellver Castle is a Gothic-style castle on a hill 3 km to the west of the center of Palma on the Island of Majorca, Balearic Islands, Spain. It was built in the 14th century for King James II of Majorca, and is one of the few circular castles in Europe. \n \n First serving as the residence of the Kings of Majorca, and afterward long used as a military prison throughout the 18th to mid-20th century, it is now under civilian control, being one of the main tourist attractions of the island, as well as the seat for the city's History Museum.
Mercat de l'Olivar
AlışverişMercat de l'Olivar is one of Palma's most popular fresh food markets. The centrally located market, which first opened in 1951, is a 2-minute walk from both Plaza España and the shopping high street of calle de Sant Miquel. It's also only a 4-minute walk from the main square of Plaza Mayor.
Palma Old Town
TarihiYou can easily spend a lazy afternoon wandering around the old town of Palma, through the medieval streets with their small squares.\n\nAs a contrast to the Medieval architecture, you may also notice the two Modernist houses Can Rei and L’Aquila with their decorative tiled panels that are reminiscent of the Gaudi architecture you see in Barcelona.
