Flow Spaces
ManzaraSeemed like a great hotel from Booking.com. We stayed in a private room but the bad was very uncomfortable and the room was very small. It was affordable so I guess this is the price for it.
Pata Negra Pest restaurant
RestoranOne of the best steaks we have ever eaten in our life. It was great. A little expensive for Budapest but not for the steaks we ate. If you order a T-bone the min amount is 1 Kg so we went with Rib-Eye steak which is 400gr. It was enough for both of us.
Leo Rooftop Budapest
RestoranThe perfect spot for cocktails and the view of Budapest. Great location and great taste. 10/10. We tried the hot cocktails offered in the menu only in these times of the year. You should definitely try one of them if you come here in winter.

Central Market Hall
AlışverişWe knew there was not really anything to do here. We have only visited because it was next to our hotel. Nothing to see except the building outside. Everything inside smells bad and pricing is just a tourist trap…
Vigadó Concert Hall
RestoranWalking next to the Danube, you will see this great building. We didn’t have a chance to go in but it looks amazing.
Little Princess Statue
Mutlaka GörülmeliThey say if you touch her knees, you will visit Budapest again. Which was the case for me already. You can see the yelllowish colour in her legs because of the human interaction. Has a great view on the back with Buda Castle and if you wait 5-10 minutes you can catch a great photo with one of the trams.
Kolodko: Ignác Roskovics Statue
ManzaraOne of the most famous painters of Budapest, painting the famous bridge. A great photo spot.
VAJ Rákóczi · bakery & café
RestoranWe got into this place because we were searching for a bakery. They mainly sell sweet stuff and and it is really overpriced. Not worth it.
St. Stephen's Basilica
TarihiWe have been in Vatikan and all the best churches in the World. We can easily say, this was in the best of best list. Great work done by Hungarians. You should get your tickets online if you don’t want to wait in the line. You can spend 1 hour inside including the terrace view.
0,75 bistro & bar
RestoranThis place is just next to the Stephan’s Basilica. Coffee was not the best but has great toilets 😂 I think it is important to know.
Stephen Széchenyi Square
ParkThe place has very big statues in the middle of the roads connecting to the Chain Bridge. Also has the oldest tree in Budapest if you are interested.
Chain Bridge
ArabaThe Chain Bridge in Budapest is not only the city’s most iconic landmark but also the subject of a bittersweet legend. The sculptor of the lions, János Marschalkó, was so confident in his work that he challenged anyone to find a mistake. For years, no one could. Then, one day, a young boy pointed out that the lions at the bridge’s entrance appeared to have no tongues. Although their tongues are actually hidden deep inside their mouths, the rumor spread that Marschalkó, devastated by the perceived mistake, kept his promise and ended his life. In truth, Marschalkó lived a full life and continued his career as a celebrated sculptor. But the story of the “tongueless lions” remains a cherished myth, adding an air of mystery to this remarkable bridge.
Fisherman's Bastion
MeşhurOne of Budapest’s most magical spots, the Fisherman’s Bastion feels like something straight out of a fairytale. Built in 1902 as a viewing terrace, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Danube, the Parliament, and the city skyline. Its seven towers symbolize the seven Magyar tribes that founded Hungary, making it rich in historical significance. Legend has it that the structure was named after the guild of fishermen who defended this part of the city walls during the Middle Ages. While it looks like an ancient fortress, its design is more romantic than practical, blending Neo-Romanesque and Neo-Gothic styles. Don’t forget to climb to the top of the towers for the best views and of course photos!
Holy Trinity Statue
MeşhurStanding proudly near Matthias Church, this Baroque monument was built in 1713 to commemorate the victims of the plague. Its intricate design and religious symbolism make it a must-see while exploring Buda Castle.
The Church of Our Lady of Buda Castle
ManzaraThis stunning Gothic church, named after King Matthias, is a symbol of Hungarian history and resilience. During the Ottoman occupation, the church was converted into a mosque, its Christian decorations removed or covered. After the Ottomans were expelled, it was restored to its former grandeur, making it one of Budapest’s most breathtaking landmarks today.
St. Stephen Statue
TarihiDedicated to Hungary’s first king, this bronze statue atop a richly decorated base celebrates the country’s Christian heritage. It’s perfectly placed near Fisherman’s Bastion for panoramic views.
Statue of Prince Eugene of Savoy
Mutlaka GörülmeliThis grand equestrian statue honors Prince Eugene of Savoy, one of the most celebrated military commanders in European history. Renowned for his victories against the Ottoman Empire, the statue stands as a symbol of Hungary’s struggle for independence. Its prominent location near Buda Castle makes it a powerful reminder of the city’s historical resilience.
Fountain of King Matthias
TarihiThis masterpiece, also known as the Matthias Fountain, is a striking Baroque fountain located in the courtyard of Buda Castle. It depicts a legendary hunting scene with King Matthias Corvinus at its center, standing triumphant with a deer. Surrounding him are beautifully crafted figures of hunters, hounds, and a falconer. The fountain is rich in symbolism, as it also features Ilonka, a peasant girl said to have fallen in love with Matthias during a hunting expedition. It’s a visual narrative of strength, grace, and folklore—a must-see for history and art enthusiasts.
Buda Castle
MeşhurDominating the skyline of Budapest, Buda Castle is a sprawling historic complex and UNESCO World Heritage Site. First constructed in the 13th century, it has served as a royal palace, a fortress, and now a cultural hub housing museums and galleries. Over centuries, the castle was rebuilt and expanded, especially after the Ottoman occupation when it was heavily damaged. One of the castle’s fascinating features is its Lion Gate. This entrance is guarded by four lion statues, each with its own character. Two roar fiercely, symbolizing power and protection, while two remain silent, embodying calm and vigilance. The contrast is said to reflect the dual nature of a king—both fierce and just. Buda Castle offers more than its architectural beauty. Walk through its courtyards, take in the panoramic views of Budapest from its terraces, and immerse yourself in the stories of Hungarian royalty and resilience. Whether you’re exploring its grand halls or admiring the lions at its gate, this castle is an unmissable highlight of any trip to Budapest.
Dock 42
ManzaraWe took a great boat tour from Dock42. The tickets are available on get your guide. 1 hour boat tour, first drinks are included and astonishing view. If you take a late evening tour the city looks great with the lights!
Gozsdu Court
ManzaraThis is a perfect street full of restaurants and entertainment places. You can visit here to discover a lot of karaoke bars as well.
2 Spaghi - Fresh Pasta Bar
RestoranWe have visited this tiny and cute Italian restaurant. They make delicious, handmade pasta, and desserts. Everything is traditional and prices are affordable.
Warm Up Cocktail bar
RestoranThis was by far the best cocktail places we have ever been in Budapest. They serve, unlimited water and peanuts next to cocktails. The waitresses are super professional and explains everything to you about your cocktails.

Hungarian Parliament Building
MeşhurOne of the most beautiful buildings we have ever seen. Day and night this building has amazing details on it. In it’s garden, there are amazing statues to represent independence process of Hungary.
Budapest Christmas Fair and Winter Festival
Mutlaka GörülmeliThe most overrated Christmas market in Europe. Don’t go. Everything is very expensive. Even in Munich they charge €7.5 for sausages. Here they ask for €14. Complete scam
Lion Fountain
ParkDanubius Fountain
Insta SpotElizabeth Square
ParkPark square with an ornamental fountain & cafes, plus city views from the Budapest Eye Ferris wheel.
Hungarian State Opera
ArabaAfter seeing the opera building in Vienna, this building was also reminded me of that. This time we visit unfortunately it was closed so we couldn’t see inside.
Andrássy Avenue
MeşhurA grand boulevard lined with cafes, shops, and significant architecture, perfect for a romantic stroll.
New York Café
Insta SpotThe famous New York Café of Budapest. It took 45 minutes to get inside while we waited outside during the very cold weather. Normally, you can have a reservation and not wait in the line, but during this time of the year, we couldn’t find any spot. Inside is magical. It’s worth to wait, but the prices are very expensive. A standard coffee is €12. Eating a meal can be more logical since the prices of those are normal compared to other expensive cities of Europe such as Munich or Paris.
Ciao Bella
RestoranWe were lucky to find this place because it was one of the only open spots during the Christmas evening in Budapest. Most places were closed including all American food chains…crazy. The Beatriz that took care of us was probably one of the owners of the place. The atmosphere was great. Food was great. We enjoyed our time. The prices are reasonable.

Heroes' Square
ManzaraThe memory of Magyar Prince! The impressive Heroes' Square was largely the work of architect Albert Schickedanz, who was also responsible for the huge Museum of Fine Arts that flanks this large open space. Highlights include the Millennium Monument, a 36-meter column crowned by a figure of the Archangel Gabriel and unveiled in the late 19th century. Around the plinth can be seen a group of bronze horsemen representing the conquering Magyar Prince Árpád and six of his fellow warriors. On either side of the column, colonnades extend in a semi-circle, and between the individual pillars stand statues of Hungarian rulers. Above the corner pillars are beautiful works in bronze by Zala.
The Museum of Fine Arts
SanatIt houses one of the largest collections of works by the Old Masters to be found in Europe. The extensive array of Italian, Spanish, and Dutch paintings are on display in a spectacular, classically influenced 19th century building with long rooms for the larger paintings, cabinets for smaller and more intimate items, together with architecturally interesting space such as the Renaissance Hall. Established in 1870 after Hungary inherited a fine collection of paintings, drawings, and prints, the museum is divided into six excellent departments: Egyptian Art, Ancient Art, the Old Sculpture Gallery, the Old Painter Gallery, the Modern Collection, and the Graphics Collection.
Vajdahunyad Castle
Insta SpotThis castle is located inside of the park. It has a great view for photography, and you can find the museum of agriculture inside.
Széchenyi Thermal Bath
Mutlaka GörülmeliThe perfect moment of our trip. We spent half day here since we knew everything will be closed during Christmas except this spot. We enjoyed the warm baths and indoor pools. We recommend getting a cabinet instead of a locker since it’s much comfortable in a private area for your belongings. The tickets are 40 Euros per person if you get it from the original website. Do not take the tickets from other places since they are mostly scams.
Bistro Dash Cafe
RestoranOf course, we could not complete our trip without trying the Turkish cuisine in Budapest. This is the spot for it. They offer a variety of choices from traditional Turkish kitchen. We like to taste and the prices.
Mitico Budapest
RestoranAnother great cocktail place. The interior of the place was amazing and they offer live music. The cocktails were tasty, and the bartender was really professional. I highly recommend a bicycle cocktail. It includes sweet-and-sour tastes.

Gellért Hill Cave
ManzaraThis is a church built in the mountain. Looks interesting but completely unnecessary if you have a limited time.
Gellért Hill
ManzaraYou climb up here even though it was under renovation until 2026. You can still see the status from the fences however it doesn’t work it since I sold the original version before I can say there is nothing to see right now. There are buses you can take or you can just walk in 15 minutes to the top. It’s a great place and you should visit when it’s done.
Citadella
ManzaraBuilt after the suppression of the Hungarian Revolution in 1848, this fort is a symbol of the city.
Garden of Philosophers
ArabaQuiet hilltop location with statues of renowned thinkers, plus panoramic views of the Danube & city.
Prince Of Buda & The Princess Of Pest Monument
ManzaraThe greatest hidden jam you can find in Budapest. This is the perfect state of representing Busa and pest trying to hug each other while Danube is separating them.
St. Gerard Sagredo Statue
ManzaraThis is our final spot in Budapest. The statue represents the effort to convert Hungarian people as Christians. The statue holds a cross in his hands and showing it to the whole city. Perfect spot to take photos.
